The last message of the final year student of the University of Ghana identified as Daniel Anane Wadie which was posted on WhatsApp has been sighted.

Daniel Anane Wadie reportedly died after battling a short illness whilst receiving treatment at the Legon hospital. Perhaps knowing very well that his time on earth was up, he shared this message on his WhatsApp status hours before his death.

The message read; “When my body is gone, remember my heart” before his sudden demise. It is alleged that Daniel Anane Wadie died on September 9th, 2021, a day before the commencement of his final exams.

In a related development, a student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has reportedly died after he landed awkwardly on his neck while doing a backflip.

Apparently, he joined his friends who were somersaulting and entertaining their friends. Unfortunately, when he also decided to join and impress those around, he landed badly on his neck and he died instantly.

A fact check reveals the level 400 student died while jubilating after completing his final examination. The student known as Rashid, reports say crash-landed on Thursday, September 9, 2021, after he attempted a backflip to celebrate his final exam.

The matter is yet to be confirmed by the school authority. But confirming the news to Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, the former Students Representative Council General Secretary, Evans Baifi said the school authorities are taking measures to formally inform the family.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Winneba Mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
